1 lb ground sausage
4 slices bacon, diced
1/2 onion, peeled and diced
2 cl;oves garlic, peeled and minced
3 tbsp flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
2 cups half and half
2 tbsp butter
Heat a large skillet for 1 to 2 minutes over medium heat. Combine sausage, bacon, onion and garlic. Cook till sausage is browned and bacon cooked breaking up sausage as it cooks. Stir in flour, salt and pepper and cook for 1 minute or 2. Gradually stir in half and half. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly till it thickens. Stir in butter and add more milk or half and half if the gravy is too thick.
