I choose cookbooks because most of my recipes come from there. However, I also get my recipes from all those other places.

I put other in the poll as I am curious what "other" some people would have. lol

I have tons of cookbooks but I will admit that I get most of my recipes from the Internet now. I like MomsMenu and FamilyCorner as recipe sources. I also participate in a "menu plan Monday" thing on my Fridge blog; people give their menu for the week and some give recipes. So I have tried a few from there as well!

Wow, tough question! I love my family recipes, and I collect cookbooks... but I voted for the Internet. Why? Because it's exciting to know there are a bajillion recipes on the 'Net just waiting for me to find them. With cookbooks, I'm limited to those recipes only in the books on my shelf. :D

From cookbooks, friends/family and the internet. But, being that most of my friends/family do not follow the low carb WOE, I get most of my recipes from the internet

The only recipes that I get from the Internet are ones that I get from members that I know have tried the recipes. I am afraid that if I went online to a site where I didn't know anyone, the recipe might not come out good. Plus, I can ask the members questions about their recipes to see if I can alter them.

I have some favorite cookbooks, but I have a binder of recipes I've found on the internet. Most are crockpot recipes, quick-dinner things, or dishes with just a few ingredients. I find that when I want to cook something particular, I go to my cookbooks, but when I need to feed the family with little effort, I head for the computer.

I love to get recipes from friends. I know that they have tried them and can tell me what I need to do that's not listed. yesterday, I got a great recipe for chicken pan pie, the young man that makes it, doesn't cook often but he said this recipe is very easy,

I like the convenience of the Internet because I can look things up by ingredient but I always end up transcribing everything into a cookbook which is inconvenient.

I get recipes from ehre there and every where, I save them cause I think they sound good but don't always get around to making them.

I like to look on the net when I've got time to just sit and surf.

Anywhere and everywhere, I have tons of cookbooks , get all the cooking magazines and turn to the internet all the time. I tend to use the recipe as a starting point . I always change something along the way.

cau,
You wrote my answer completely! I have tons of cookbooks, tons of clippings and I print lots from MomsMenu and FamilyCorner, as well as some cooking blogs that I regularly read. I do keep my "tried and true" recipes in a red binder for future reference.

I too have tons and tons of cookbooks, recipes from friends, boxes and boxes of 3 x 5 cards filled, and I still want more! LOL I enjoy several cookbook magazines also. I'm always having to change aound the recipes to satisfy the diet restrictions of DH. MM and FC have given me lots of information and recipes also. I have a 3 foot tall stack of printed recipes from the internent; in fact I recently went through them and made two piles. One for try soon and one for try later! LOL I just need the time to use them all! Sometimes I get into them and make another stack and then list any ingredients I need to complete them and then I put them on the "menu".
