View Full Version : Okra salad - Philippine style

1/2 lb raw okra - not frozen - head cut off.
1/2 cup onion - cube sliced
1/2 cup red tomatoes, cube sliced
1 1-inch press ginger
1/2 venigar
2 Pinches of salt and pepper

Boil okra until soft. Set aside and let it cool.
Combined remaining ingredients and pour into Okra. Chill until ready to eat.
Best eaten if cold or warm.

Although I said it is Phillipine style, it is more like my style.

Also, you can put fresh lemon juice about 1/2 spoon.

Whoo Hooo! I am so glad that you were able to post!!!

I LOVE okra, onion, and tomatoes, but I have never tired them with ginger. I will have to try it between semesters.

Yaay!!! My semesters ended yesterday and wont start again till June.

Well, just rub it in!!!! lol Mine doesn't end until next Friday. However, my last final is on Monday evening. I hope yours went well!
