Do you wear aprons?

Are you an apron wearer? Do you own an apron, or more than one? Tell about your favorite!

I often wear an apron when I cook--and always when I bake. When I DON'T wear an apron for cooking I always regret it later :eek: I guess I am not the neatest cook in the world.

But when I put on my apron I feel like I have a job to do and I am dressed to do the job!

I used to wear aprons all the time when I was younger. I don't any more, but if someone were to give me one, I would definately wear it!

I buy them or get them as gifts and will admit that I never ever wear them. My mother always wore an apron and there was something about it that I really hated. So, I grew up apronless!

Are you kidding, wear an apron?! Then you can't prove to anyone that you've actually been baking!! Of course, I guess you could just puff some flour on your face to give the idea. ;)

I have a ton of aprons but by the time I remember I should be wearing one it's too late and I am covered in ingredients. :D

I have several aprons that I wear. My favorite fell apart. It had cows on it.
When we go to dads for any meal I take at least 1 apron with me.

I don't use aprons. I have a couple but they are just folded up in a cabinet. I will say that I used on once to make hubby dinner but the fun thing was I only wore the apron.

Never used to be but I've recently bought one as I'm tired of having to get those rogue fat spatters on my t-shirts and trying to clean them out.
YES I am a wearer now, it is a big Australian flag apron.

Yes, I wear an apron..I hate oil stains on my shirts..or as I lovingly call them...belly stains. lol

My favorite apron is from a good friend in Australia, she made it herself and stamped it with cute Aussie critters. It is a light color, and when my apron is dirty..shucks...time to take Mom out to dinner..hee hee

This good friend also sent me a pair of Aussie socks..they are great! They actually fit my feet perfect! unlike the USA socks. My Aussie flag socks, how cool they are!

I figure you got to spice it up somehow.
But in all seriousness I could have used one when pregnant while cooking. I was forever getting stuff on my belly then. Never even crossed my mind to use an apron.

I just got a new apron today! I think I will be using this one a lot. It's completely reversible; the other side is plain white. But the pink side has 3 pockets--1 on top and 2 on the bottom.

Rumor has it that it was treated with a stain resistant starch. Must find out more about THAT since I could use it on the kids' school uniforms!
