A & W Cream Soda

1 1/3 c sugar
1/8 t Kool-Aid lemonade unsweetened
1 c very hot water
1 c corn syrup
1/2 t & 1/4 t vanilla
10 c cold soda water

Dissolve the sugar and Kool-Aid drink mix in hot water in small pitcher. Add corn syrup and vanilla extract. Stir well. Cover and chill syrup until cold. When the syrup is cold, pour 1/4 c syrup into 1 c cold soda water. Stir gently, add ice and serve. Makes 10-12 servings,

I love cram soda and usually drink diet Big Red, but on occasion get the A & W cream soda. Have you tasted this one? Does it really taste like the A & W cream soda?

No Cat Lover, I haven't tried this one yet. But if you do, would you post how it turned out? Would love to know.

Once the weather gets a little warmer I think I'll try it, but with maybe Splenda will let you know!
