5 pounds prune plums
10 to 11 cups sugar
2 oranges
2 lemons
1/2 cup broken pecans

Wash, seed and cut plums into small pieces. Add sugar and let stand overnight. Add juice of oranges and lemons. Scrape white part of rinds and discard. Grind rinds and add. Cook till it jells. DO NOT OVERCOOK! Stir in peans and poiur into sterilized jars and seal. Makes 7 pints
