This is a neat one for St. Patrick's Day (the whole rainbow thing) but you have to start a little early because each layer has to set. Just take clear plastic cups and a variety of different Jellos, make your first color, pour a little into the cup, let it set and continue on until you have a cup full of Jello color. My kiddos loved it!

That is a cute idea! Wonder how long it would take to set if you used ice cubes in the jello? Thanks for the suggestion!

Cute idea; and would even be great in the hot summer months as a really cool desert, thanks for sharing!

Using ice cubes is sort of a "speed set" for the jello. The directions are usually on the side of the jello packages for doing so. What it ends up being is using partial water and partial ice cubes instead of all cold water to help it set. After the designated time you remove any unmelted ice cubes and then follow the usual method.
