Work at Home Mom

Hello,
I am a new work at home mom. Right Now I am still in the process of trying to find a work at home job so if you have any suggestions please let me know. I am having a hard time trying to adapt to this new work at home situation. I wanted to know if anyone could help me regarding how to organizing my time in order to work on the computer and still do chores around the house. Does anyone have any tips? Thanks

Do your kids have particular times when they nap? Write down the things you NEED to get done for work on a daily basis and schedule those for times when the kids are sleeping, or create a special basket of quiet activities they can do while you're working, and only let them get into it during work hours. If you have specific things that need to be done around the house (laundry, cooking, etc.) just put that on your schedule as well. You're a manager of your home, you can treat it like a business appointment. Then, don't forget to have some time in the day just for fun interaction with your kids. They need their mommy's undivided attention, too. Have fun with them, laugh and play. You'll be glad you did. :)

When I was a stay at home mom and homeschooled, I baked for the public and did some catering. That way, I could rely less on a babysitter and spend more time with my children.
