St. Patrick's Day is coming up soon. Does anyone have plans or does anyone do anything crazy like drink green beer?

No we don't, although we have Irish on both sides of our family it's never been a big deal.
It is in the Irish pubs around, you know for men any excuse to have a beer! LOL

We always have corn beef, depends on what else is going on if we do the whole brisket or just get it from the deli. When I do the whole brisket I also do the cabbage and mashed potatoes together. When I was in school I always dyed my hair green. After hearing that my dgd now does it also. I'm from Chicago and we use St. Paddy's day as a brief break from a long and dreay lenten season. Why we even dye the Chicago River Green because everyone is Irish on that day.

Cau, how does one go about dying a river green?

Corned beef is one of our families favourite dinners, we do corned beef with cheese and parsley white sauce, cauliflower, carrots and peas or beans. The white sauce gets smothered on everything not just the meat, yum.
Maybe I'll have to get a piece to cook up for that day we haven't had it for a while.

This may be a stupid question, but do all countries celebrate St. Patrick's Day?
