This is good over ice cream or even angel food cake or pound cake!
2 cups dark corn syrup
1/3 cup boiling water
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup pecan pieces, lightly toasted
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp butter
Combine all ingredients in pan, except butter. Cook over medium heat just till boiling. Remove from heat and stir in butter. This will keep for quite awhile in a closed container.
