Herb Salt Substitute

3 tsp basil
2 tsp savory
2 tsp celery seeds
2 tsp ground cumin seed
2 tsp sage
1 tsp lemon thyme
2 tsp marjoram

mix well and then powder with mortar and pestle.:)

Here's another one; really good too!:D

1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp each dried parsley flakes, basil, marjoram and thyme
1 tsp rubbed sage
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp ground mace
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl and store in an airtight container. Great as a season on pork, chicken or fish. Makes 1/4 cup
