Do you have some tried and true recipes that you seem to be requested of over and over each year for those game get togethers? Let's share them here!
Salsa Pizza with Cheese Crust
1 pound lean ground beef
1 1/4 cups Thick 'n Chunky salsa
2 cups Bisquick mix
1/4 cup mild salsa flavor or jalapeno flavor process cheese spread
1/4 cup hot water
4 medium green onions, sliced
1 green pepper, diced
1/4 cup drained black olives, sliced
1 cup shredded Colby Monterey Jack cheese
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a large cookie sheet with nonstick spray.
Cook beef stirring occasionally till brown and drain. Stir in salsa and remove from heat. Stir Bisquick, cheese spread and hot water till soft dough forms. Turn dough onto surface dusted with Bisquick and roll in Bisquick to coat. Shape into ball and knead 5 times. Roll into 14" circle and place on prepared cookie sheet. Spread beef mixture over crust to within 2" of edge. Sprinkle with onions, green peppers, and olives. Fold edge over beef mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 25 to 28 minutes or till crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.
TACO DIP
1 lb very lean ground meat, browned and drained if there is any grease
1 packet taco seasoning
3/4 c water
8 oz. cream cheese at room temp
8 oz sour cream
any taco toppings you like on your tacos-shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, chopped tomatoes, chopped onions, olives
tortilla chips
After browning and draining the meat add the water and taco seasoning. Turn the heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Thoroughly combine the cream cheese and sour cream. Spread it thinly on a serving platter, top with the taco meat, then add the toppings. Put the lettuce on top if using to keep it from getting soggy. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for several hours. Serve with tortilla chips. You can serve this warm if you like.

I just happen to have one~ LOL It's low fat of course!
1 can (16 oz) chick peas, rinsed & drained
1/3 cup fat free plain yogurt
1/4 cup scallions, minced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, minced
Juice of 2 lemons
5 tsp sesame butter ( I get this in a health food store; you can use tahini also; you can get tahini in both light and dark; get the light)
1 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, mionced
1/4 tsp black pepper
dash of reduced sodium soy sauce
pinch of cayenne pepper
In a food processor process the chick peas till smooth. Scrape down sides a couple times if necessary. Add the yogurt, scallions, parsley, lemon juice, tahini, oil, garlic, black pepper, and soy sauce. Process till smooth and creamy. Sometimes you may need a tad bit of water if it is too thick for you). Put into a serving bowl and sprinkle the cayenne pepper on top. Best served at room temperature.

Deviled Eggs usually always go over well for a game day food! Here's one of the recipes one of my SIL uses. She never has any eggs left!
Deviled Eggs
1 dozen large eggs
1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp sour cream
3 tbsp mayonnaise
3 tbsp finely chopped sweet pickle
2 tbsp finely chopped red onion
Salt & ground black pepper
ground white pepper
1/2 tsp hungarian paprika
In a large saucepan, cover the eggs with cold water and bring to a boil over high heat and boil for 1 minute. Remove the saucepan from the heat and cover and let stand for 10 minutes. Drain the eggs and cool them under cold running water. Drain and peel the eggs. Halve the eggs lengthwise. Gently remove the yolks and transfer them to a food processor. Add the sour cream and mayonnaise and process till smooth. Transfer to a bowl and stir in the sweet pickle and onion and season with salt, black pepper and white pepper.Arrange the egg white halves cut side up on a serving plate. Using a pastry bag fitted with a star tip or a teaspoon, fill the cavities with the yolk mixture. Sprinkle with the paprika and serve. About 8 servings

Bacon and Cheese Melts
The guys usually really like these!
1 1/2 pounds bacon
1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp water
2 tbsp olive oil
8 large garlic cloves, sliced 1/8"thick
2 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tsp red wine vinegar
Salt & ground pepper
8 slices pumpernickel bread
1/4 poundr Gruyere cheese, thinly sliced
Lettuce leaves
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. In a large skillet bacon over moderate heat, turning once till crisp. Drain on paper towels. In a medium skillet, bring the water and olive oil to a simmer. Add the garlic in an even layer, cover and cook till the water has evaporated. Uncover and cook undisturbed till the garlic begins to turn golden, about 5 minutes longer. As the garlic colors, transfer it to a plate. Pour 1 tablespoon of the garlic oil into a medium bowl. Whisk in the mustard and vinegar and season with salt and pepper. Arrange the bread on a baking sheet and top each slice with 4 slices of bacon. Cover the bacon with the cheese. Bake for 4 minutes, until the bacon is sizzling and the cheese is melted. Add the lettuce and the garlic slices to the dressing in the bowl and toss well. Mound the lettuce on 4 of the cheese melts and close the sandwiches cut in half and serve. Makes 4 sandwiches
