This recipe comes from "Montgomery Bell Inn" in Montgomery Bell State Park in Burns, Tennessee
6 large yams
1/2 pound butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 cups orange juice
1 1/2 cups chopped black walnuts
Marshmallows
Peel potaotes and slice crosswise. Cook till tender in as little water as possible. Drain and whip potatoes till creamy. Add other ingredients except marshmallows and mix well. Place in a baking dish and top with marshmallows. Brown in the oven about 10 minutes. Serves 12
