This is a great way to use dried beans which are great on the food budget!
All you do is precook them first for 10 minutes in boiling water. Then drain them and add the beans and 6 cups of water per pound of beans to your slow cooker. Cover and cook them on LOW for 12 hours. Then season to taste or use them in another recipe that calls for cooked beans.
