Happy New Year all and Merry Christmas. I hope everyone's holidays have been great thus far.

Barb, I hope your migraine goes away soon. My sil has one as we speak too.

Today as I sat down to Christmas dinner (at noonish), the room suddenly started spinning around. I hoped it would go away for 3 hours. DH took me to the ER as I knew the only thing that would get rid of it was Anti-Vert. Sure enough, it was an inner ear problem. I was sicker than a dog until that medication took effect. It is almost time for my next dose. I think by tomorrow I will be up and around. At least the room isn't spinning anymore.

DeBora hope you are doing better!

Sweetnell; so glad you and your family had a great Christmas Day!

Seems several of us have had a "medical" holiday. On the 26th my DH and I were in the city to pick up a car and my DS#1 collasped at work; on the ride into work he thought he was having a heart attack. As he went in the door at work they all knew something was wrong and he went in and collasped. They called an ambulance and he was taken to the hospital with what they all thought was a heart attack; luckily we were in town. So after several hours in the ER it turns out he had a panic attack. He's never had one before and the doctors aren't sure why he did. They said sometimes stress and some people "just have them" for no apparent reason. He goes to is doctor next week. So the day turned out much better than it could have.

Have a good day all!

Cat, I am glad that it turned out only to be a panic attack. Many people think they are having a heart attack when they first have a panic attack. It is very common. Next time, I bet he will know what it is. Let me know if he needs some suggestions on how to deal with them in the future. I used to have them all the time and know a few tricks that will help.

I hope everyone else is enjoying the holiday season!

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Just trying not to "overwhelm" him with advice right now! LOL
