Remember going here years ago as a child with my Grandmother and was thrilled when I found this recipe; it does taste like the one years ago at the soda fountain in the five and dime store with the whirrly seats from what I remember

1 (1-inch) slice baked ham, DICED
1/4 cup finely diced celery, more if desired
sweet pickle relish,as desired
salad dressing (not mayo), as needed* Miracle Whip
salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste
4 slices whole wheat bread,toasted
2 each lettuce leaves, optional

Dice the ham slice (this is very important, do not grind or chop it); add the diced celery; then add enough pickle relish and Kraft's Salad Dressing (not Mayo); season it to your likings and mix well. Spread the ham salad onto two of the toasted whole wheat bread slices, top with a lettuce leaf and place the last toast slices on. Cut each sandwich diagonally. Serve with chips. 2 servings

 What a tiring week-end we had!!
We went to indy, my sister's husband had two heart attacks,
this past Monday!!
He's finially off the machine for his kidneys!
They are trying to get him off the breathing machine, but he puts up a fight!!
The Dr. said they would do a CT scan today on his brain!!
They want to be sure either way if he has had a stroke!!
I've only had about 5 hours sleep since last Thursday I just can't sleep too much on my mind!!
How ya like my big orange on white? Well it's in order to remember wehen my man Peyton played for UT, Now I'll praise his team in blue!! I've been waiting for this up coming day Sunday, Super bowl Sunday for the last 3-4 years!! Look out, you all just might hear me yelling too !
I want to get me & hubby one of those T-shirts too and the ballcap TOO!!
I hope they beat the Bears by 18 points or more!! Wouldn't hurt my feelings none!!
I'm going to be fixing lots of goodies for Hubby & me, but nothing too fatting!! We both are trying to loose some of this extra pounds and we could stand to loose alot of that too!!
But, if we watch it till Sunday and do good, I'll make a really good desert!! Not just trying to toot my own horn, but I' a pretty good cook!! Love home made anything around my house!!
Well I best get going and you all have a good rest of the day & my GOD bless you all, Please keep our family in your prayers and just know you all will be in mine!! :D

Hi Nanajack! Welcome to MM. Here's the link to the Chit Chat thread (http://www.momsmenu.com/forums/showthread.php?p=12407#post12407)if you just want to chit chat about anything. Sometimes we want to talk instead of sharing or commenting on recipes. I hope to "see" you around.
