1 pound scallops
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/3 cup melted butter
1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
tartar sauce
Thaw frozen scallops, wash well and drain. Season scallops with salt and pepper. Dip in butter and then roll in crumbs. Place scallops in greased wire grill, about 4" from hot coals. Cook about 8 to 10 minutes, turning to brown crumbs. Serve with tartar sauce. 4 servings
