What do you set out for Santa?

My GKs will be here for Christmas this year. We will be able to set out goodies for Santa this year.

I am curious, what does or has everyone else set out for Santa in the way of goodies? Cookies and milk? We like to set out homemade cookies and Christmas milk aka eggnog.

we set out different things. Some years we set out cookies and milk,some times it is cheese and crackers and carrots for the reindeers.

We put on a plate 1 fruit mince pie and a note that says get a drink from the fridge, as when ds1 was little he said, what if Santa doesn't like milk?
Note everyone is supposed to like fruit mince pies and that never came up in discussion LOL
...and the reindeers can't fly properly if they eat at everyones house so, like swimming they have to eat 30 mins before leaving home/sth pole. Kids!

My kids really thought Santa would be hungry so we used to put out several different kinds of cookies, carrots, crackers. And of course a big glass of milk. I really miss those times.

We leave a slice of pie(Santa is probably tired of cookies) on the table with a note that says the milk is in the fridge. We also toss a handful of oatmeal mixed with glitter onto the lawn for the reindeer--oats to eat and glitter so they know where to look.

I never thought about setting anything out for the reindeer. Good idea.

What I would like to leave out for Santa is a nice lobster dinner! But I've been told Santa doesn't like lobster. My grandkids leave out homemade cookies & candy and milk for Santa and carrots and sugar cubes for the reindeers.

If you ever do leave out a lobster dinner, I will be more than happy to help Santa. :D

We found out this year that Rudolph has a sweet tooth for candy corn so we will not only put out oats and glitter but candy corn as well. Santa also gets cookies and Pepsi here because we figured that he gets tired of milk after a while.
