3 cloves garlic, minced
2 T grated ginger or 1 t ground ginger
2 T soy sauce
2 t rice vinegar or cider vinegar
2 t sesame oil
1/2 t sugar
1 top sirloin grilling steak 1” thick
10 green onions, white part only
In large bow, whisk together garlic, ginger, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil and sugar. Trim fat from steak; cut into 1 inch cubes. Add to marinade; let stand for 10 min. Meanwhile, cut onions into 2 inch lengths. Alternately thread onions and beef onto metal or soaked wooden skewers; brush with remaining marinade. Place on greased grill over med-high heat; close lid and grill, turning 3 times until browned but still pink inside, about 10 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
