I saw this in an article:

Vanilla Ice Cream

five egg yolks
a cup of Splenda
1 and ¼ cups of heavy cream that is whipped

1. How would this be made without an ice cream maker? The article doesn't say.

2. Do any low-carbers out there notice stomach cramps after eating Splenda?

I use splenda all the time regular splenda, baking splenda and brown sugar splenda and have never had anytrouble

Im not sure how you would make that Id think it would have to be cooked alittle with the egg but not sure sorry i couldnt help

I'm not a low carb person, but I do use Splenda and I don't have any trouble with cramps.:)

I only use Stevia, but DH uses Splenda. He has never had any trouble with it though. I would say that anything chemical can cause any trouble depending on your system. Go off it and see if the symptoms change.

I never had any problems with Splenda. I agree with the others...go off of it for at least 3 days and see if you notice a difference.

I have been doing a search to try and figure this out, but haven't come across anything yet. I can tell you that it isn't reccommended to eat uncooked eggs though.
