Oven: 350
35—45 Minutes
3 1/2 c bread flour
1/4 c shortening
1/3 c sugar
3/4 c water
1 t salt
1 1/2 t bread machine yeast
1 egg
1/3 c grated Parmesan cheese
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 c butter, melted
Measure carefully, placing all ingredients except Parmesan cheese, garlic and margarine in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select Dough/Manual cycle. Grease tube pan, 10 × 4 inches, or 12-cup bundt cake pan. Divide dough into 20 equal pieces. Mix cheese and garlic. Dip dough pieces into melted margarine, then roll in cheese mixture. Arrange in layers in pan. Cover and let rise in warm place about 45 minutes or until double. Heat oven to 350º. Bake until golden brown. Remove from pan. Serve warm.
