There are certain brand names that I must buy, if possible.
We like Heinz ketchup in our house
I've recently remembered how much I really like Mallo cups--but not the "off" brand.
I'm sure there's more too, I'm just not awake enough to think about them yet. lol!!
How about you?

I am not as brand loyal as I used to be. There are a few things I will NOT compromise on, though.
Campbell's pork & beans is one.
I can think of more brands I will NOT buy, because I don't like them, than brands I MUST buy! Guess that deserves its own thread ;)

We HAVE to have the name brand Coca-Cola and Pepsi. I won't eat anything but Grant's Whole Wheat bread and they don't sell that in Las Cruces! Also, I will only eat Ocean Spray cranberries or cranberry sauce.
I know there are others. I just cannot think of them right now!

I will only eat Peter Pan Peanutbutter, Hunt's Ketchup and Hellman's Mayo. I am flexable on a lot but for those I don't budge. When they go on sale, I stock up.

We had spaghetti and meatballs last night and leftovers today. I hate Prego and will only eat Emeril's and maybe Hunts. Other than that, I will make my own sauce.

Im with you....I hate Prego. I like Hunts No Sugar Added. I also like to doctor up Ragu w/ my own gr. peppers, onions, garlic and Italian seasonings--this saves me a lot of time instead of making homemade all the time.
I think that we tried Emeril's a long time ago but didnt care for it. I really dont like his "Bam" seasoning either.

Hmmm, seems like Heinz Ketchup is a biggie around here! That is the one we like also! I've tried others, but just dont care for them so when they are on sale I stock up. I had the cashier ask me once how many kids I had since I bought 10 bottles:eek: I'll have to come back here because my mind is somewhere else I guess ;I can't think of others and I know there are a few!

I'll have to look for the "no sugar added" as I don't think I've seen it.

Walmart used to carry it but I know that here in NC, it is very spotty when they actually stock it. I could find it in PA with no problem

I don't buy a lot of prepackaged foods but if I do buy boxed macaroni and cheese dinners I always buy Annie's Shells and Cheese. It is all natural and tastes so much better than Kraft or other brands with the "orange" cheese sauces.

I agree that it does taste better. I haven't bought any of it in a long while though. The only place I've ever seen it is in a health food store back in Louisville and it really cost there! In the past I used to get some cents off coupons for it which made it not too bad, but don't get any more now.

Glory Brand Seasoned Black Beans! Stokely's used to make a gold label seasoned black beans, but either stopped making them or we just can't get them in this part of the country any longer. So the Glory Brand is the only seasoned ones I can find ; they taste wonderful and fill the bill!:D

I use a lot of flour and it has to be White Lily. I've tried other brands and IMO they are just not as good. I buy off-brand PB, but actually it is not as good as Peter Pan. To me, Peter Pan IS peanut butter.

Hershey's Cocoa Powder! I've tried others and they just don't taste the same to me; probably all in my head because I bet they make others and put different names on them!
