4 bone in chicken breast halves (about 2 pounds), skin removed
1 tbsp curry powder
1 package chicken gravy mix
1 can (14 1/2 ounces) chicken broth
1 medium red bell pepper, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 medium Golden Delicious apple, unpeeled, cored and coarsely chopped
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup dried chopped onions
2 bay leaves, broken in half
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 cup instant rice

Rinse chicken; cut each breast into 4 pieces. Sprinkle chicken with curry powder, gently patting into chicken. Gradually stir chicken gravy into broth in slow cooker till well blended. Add seasoned chicken and remaining ingredients except rice andstir well. Cover and cook 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH. Add instant rice and stir gently. Cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes or till rice is tender. Remove bay leaves before serving. 6 servings
