This is like the sauce on one of the newer Subway sandwiches, a friend said she got if off the internent and tried it and it came out great!
2/3 cup water
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tsp worcestershire suae
2 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp catsup
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp ground cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp ground cumin
1/8 tsp rubbed sage
2 tbsp white vinegar
2 tsp lemon juice
Whisk together all ingredients except vinegar and lemon juice in a medium saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat,reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute till it thickens. Cool 10 minutes. Stir in vinegar and lemon juice, then cover and chill at least 1 hour before using as a suace on a grilled chicken sandwich. Makes about 3/4 cup
