This is from McCormick Kitchens
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup boiling water
1 1/2 tsp McCormick Root Beer Concentrate (it is found with the flavorings and extracts in the grocery)
1 liter chilled soda water
1 pint vanilla ice cream
Stir sugar and boiling water until sugar is dissolved. Add root beer concentrate; refrigerate until chilled. When ready to serve, stir slowly soda water into root beer mixture. Place 2 scoops ice cream in each of 4 tall glasses. Slowly pour root beer between ice cream and side of glass. Serve immediately. Makes 4 servings
