1/4 pound butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup raisins
2 cups apples, sliced
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Make cream by combining butter, sugar and egg. Combine dry ingredients and coat apples well. Combine with cream mixture. Bake in a 8" greased cast iron pan for 45 to 55 minutes at 350 degrees depending on oven. Let cool to room temperature, then unmold and cut into 6 wedges. Serve with your favorite vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
