Chicken Tetrazinni
1 whole chicken
water
1/2 stick butter
1 5-oz box vermicelli
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup onion, chopped
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
2 10-oz cans cream of chicken soup
Dash of garlic powder
Boil chickin in water until thouroughly cooked. Take chicken and debone. In the water, cook the vermicelli until al dente. Drain. Saute celery and onion in butter. Add to vermicelli. Add cheese, soups, and garlic. Add chicken. Stir. Pour into a large casserole dish. May add grated cheese on top if desired. Bake in a 350 degree oven until hot and bubbly.
