4 qt beef broth
1 tsp thyme
2 tbsp parsley flakes
1 cup diced carrots
1 cup diced celery
1 chopped onions
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 bay leaf
1 tsp whole cloves
1 tsp pepper
2 cups shredded cabbage
Simmer all ingredients except cabbage for 2 hours. Remove bay leaf and cloves. Add cabbage and cook till tender.
