3 cups all purpose flour
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup vegetable opil
1 tbsp poppy seeds
1 1/2 tsp almond extract
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp butter flavoring
Glaze
3/4 cup confectioners sugar
1/4 cup orange juice
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp butter flavoring
In a large bowl mix first four ingredients. Whisk the next seven ingredients (eggs through butter flavoring) and add to dry ingredients. Beat on low speed 30 seconds or just till moistened and then beat on medium for 2 minutes. Pour into a greased and floured 10" bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-70 minutes or till toothpick tests clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan and then remove to a wire rack to cool completely. In a small bowl combine glaze ingredients till smooth and pour over cake.
