Old-Fashioned Macaroni & Cheese Serves 6-81/4 cup margarine 1/4 cup flour 2 cups milk 1 tsp. salt 2 cups (8 oz.) shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1- 7 oz. pkg. elbow macaroni, cooked, drained ----------------------------- Heat oven to 350F. Make white sauce with margarine, flour, milk, & salt; add cheese, reserving 1/2 cup; stir until melted. Layer 1/2 of macaroni & cheese sauce in 1 1/2 quart casserole; repeat layers. Top with remaining cheese. Bake at 350F, 20-25 minutes.
