1 clove garlic, crushed 5 teaspoons oil 1 pound ground beef 5 teaspoons flour 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1 cup beef broth 5 teaspoons catsup 1 can (10 ounces) whole mushrooms, drained 1 cup sour cream 6 ounces noodles (uncooked) Saute onion and garlic in oil until onion is transparent. Add beef and brown. Drain fat. Blend in flour and seasonings. Gradually add beef broth, catsup and mushrooms. Stir and simmer until smooth and thickened. Stir in sour cream and heat through, but do not boil. Serve over noodles. Makes 6 servings. |
