Meat Pie Roma Serves 6-81 lb. ground beef 1/2 cup chopped green pepper 1/3 cup chopped onion 1- 6 oz. can tomato paste 3/4 cup water 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/4 tsp. garlic powder dash of pepper 1- 8 oz. pkg. refrigerated flaky biscuits 1/3 cup (1 1/2 oz.) grated Parmesan cheese 1- 6 oz. pkg. low-moisture part-skim Mozzarella cheese slices ------------------------------ Heat oven to 400F. Brown meat; drain. Add green pepper, onion, tomato paste, water & seasonings; simmer 10 minutes. Line greased 9" pie plate with biscuits; sprinkle with 1/4 cup Parmesan. Fill with 1/2 of meat mixture & 2 slices of Mozzarella. Top with remaining meat & Parmesan. Bake at 400F, 15-20 minutes. Cut remaining Mozzarella into strips; place on top of meat pie to form lattice. Return to oven until cheese melts.
