Ingredients:
For crust:
1 3/4 cups Reduced Fat Chocolate Nilla Wafers, crushed
1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) butter, melted
For pie filling:
3 cups 1% milk
1 package Royal Dark n’ Sweet Chocolate instant pudding
1 package Royal Banana Cream instant pudding
1 large banana
For pie border:
1 block baker's chocolate
1 large banana
Directions:
(Note: DO NOT prepare filling until crust has already been made).
Begin making crust by combining crushed Nilla wafers and butter in a 9-inch pie plate, mixing until crumbs are completely moistened. Press mixture firmly against sides and bottom of pie plate; bake crust at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove crust from oven and place in refrigerator for at least 10 minutes to cool.
Take one of the bananas and cut into slices; place slices in crust, completely covering bottom.
To prepare filling, combine both pudding packages and milk in a large bowl and mix on low speed for exactly 1 minute. Immediately pour filling into cooled crust and place in refrigerator to set.
While pie is setting, melt baker’s chocolate on medium heat. Take other banana and dip into melted chocolate; remove and wait for chocolate to harden. With a hot knife, cut banana into slices; cut slices into semi-circles. Remove pie from refrigerator and place semi-circles around the border of the pie at where the filling meets the crust (diameter sides should face inward; rounded sides of semi-circles should face outward).
Pie can be served at once, but for best results put pie back in refrigerator for at least an hour. Serve as is or with nonfat whipped cream. Enjoy!
