8 ounce can tomato sauce 8 ounce can water (Rinse out can of tomato sauce.) 1/2 cup diced white onion 1/8 pound velveeta cheese (cubed) (OPTIONAL) 1/4 teaspoon ground red cayenne pepper 1/4 teaspoon paprika 1/4 teaspoon ground comino 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1 tablespoon chili powder 1 pound (very lean) hamburger In a large skillet add together all EXCEPT tomato sauce, water, soup, and cheese. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until meat is well browned. Add remaining ingredients. Lower heat to simmer. Cook until mixture is throughly mixed, melted, and hot. Serve hot over light bread or toast. SERVING OPTION: Bake a 10 count can of biscuits. When done, cut biscuits into tops and bottoms. Starting with a thin layer of casserole, layer a casserole dish alternately with biscuit bottoms and casserole, ending with biscuit tops above final layer of casserole. Serve hot, enjoy, and share. |
