1 can (13oz) evaporated milk 3 lb ground chuck (or lean hamburger) 2 cups oatmeal 1 cup chopped onion 2 tsps salt 2 tsps chili powder 2 eggs 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp. pepper Mix and shape into balls the size of a walnut. place in flat pan, only one layer to a pan. Prepare sauce below and pour over uncooked meatballs. Sauce: 2 cups catsup 2 Tbsps liquid smoke 1/2 cup chopped onions 1 1/2 cups brown sugar 1/2 tsp garlic powder Mix thoroughly and pour over uncooked meatballs. Bake 1 hr at 350 degrees. |
