Spaghettini With Garlic And Pepper Serves 6-8 Add more or less garlic and pepper to taste.1 lb. spaghetti 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil 4 large garlic cloves, chopped 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. hot pepper flakes 1 tsp. pepper 3 T. finely chopped parsley grated Romano cheese --------------------------- Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until tender but still firm, 6-8 minutes. Meanwhile, in a large frying pan, heat olive oil over medium-low heat. Add garlic and cook about 1 minutes, or until golden. Add salt, hot pepper flakes, pepper, and parsley. Drain pasta and pour into pan. Toss to coat. Pass a bowl of Romano cheese on the side.
