1/2 yellow onion, diced 1/2 cup heavy cream 1 Tbl. fresh basil, diced 8 ounces penne pasta, cooked and drained 3 Tbl. Parmesan cheese Cook the sausage, in a heavy saute pan over medium heat for 4-5 min. or until almost done, add onions and cook until both are done. Add the cream and basil and cook for 2-3 min. Remove from heat. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serve with garlic bread. |
