2 (19oz) cans of kidney beans 1 large onion, diced 2 green peppers, diced 4 to 4-1/2 cups potatoes, diced 1 can (18-3/4 oz) whole tomatoes 1 quart plus 1/2 cup water 1/2 tsp. anise seeds 3/4 tsp thyme 3/4 tsp. garlic salt 3/4 tsp. seasoning salt 4 small or 2 large bay leaves Remove casing from sausage, fry, rinse and dry. In a large pot, add all the ingredients and simmer 1 hour. |
