Fettuccine All'Alfredo Serve 6-8 This is the true version of Alfredo's pasta.1 lb. fresh fettuccine 2 sticks (1/2 lb.) butter 2 cups grated Parmesan cheese (about 8 oz.) ------------------------- Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until tender, 2-4 minutes. Meanwhile, in a large frying pan, melt butter over medium heat without allowing it to brown. Remove from heat. Drain pasta and pour into pan with butter. Add Parmesan and toss to coat well. Pass remaining cheese on the side.
