Chicken in Cream

2 1/2 Pounds Chicken parts -- to 3 lbs
Water -- To Cover
3 Cups Cream-Fairly Thick -- To 3 1/2 Cups
1 Medium Onion -- sliced
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper

Put chicken parts into large saucepan.
Cover with water. Boil 1 hour. Drain.
Pour cream over chicken.
Add onion, salt and pepper.
Bring to boil.
Allow to simmer, covered, for 30 minutes or until tender.
May be put in casserole and held in warm oven.
Serves 4-6

NOTES : This scrumptious chicken is turned out in top of the stove fashion.
