1 Tbs olive oil 2 cloves garlic, sliced 1 - 12 oz can evaporated milk 1 large onion/diced 5 or 6 medium potatoes/diced 1 green pepper/diced 2 large celery stalks/diced 2 large carrots/diced 3 entire green onions/cut in 1/2" lengths 2 or 3 slices fresh ginger root - 1/4" thick 2 TBS curry powder 3 cups water 1 TBS soy sauce 1 TBS sugar 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper 2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp MSG/optional 2 TBS cornstarch mixed with 1/4 cup cold water Put onion, celery, potatoes and carrots in the 3 cups of water in a Heat a large frying pan or wok, add the oil.
