3 1/2 T. instant coffee
7 cloves
2 sticks cinnamon
3 1/2 cups boiling water
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup heavy cream, whipped

Place instant coffee, cloves,
and cinnamon in saucepan, pour
boiling water over all. Cover
and bring to boil. Remove from
heat and let stand 5-8 minutes.
Strain, add sugar to liquid and
stir until dissolved. Chill.
Serve in tall glasses topped with
ice cream and whipped cream.
