1 3 1/2 - 4 pound Chuck Roast
3 TBS of oil
1 12 ounce can of beer
salt
pepper
minced garlic (as much or as little as you care for)
1 can Cambell's Golden Mushroom Soup
1 envelope Liptons Dry Onion-Mushroom Soup
Sliced mushrooms(as much as you like)
Quartered onions(as much as you like)
Worcestershire Sauce(as much or as little as you like)
Quartered potatoes(as much as you like)
Thickly sliced carrots(as much as you like)
In a roasting pan, brown the roast on all sides in oil.
Top the roast with salt, pepper and minced garlic.
Put beer half way up the roast.
Mix the Golden Mushroom Soup with the Dry Lipton Onion-Mushroom Soup.
Pour over the roast.
Add the onions and mushrooms
Sprinkle with Worcestershire sauce
Cover and cook at 325 degrees for 2 1/2 hours
Add the potatoes and carrots
Cover and cook for 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 hours more.
