1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup boiling water 1/2 cup orange juice 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1/4 cup mayonnaise 1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped 2 cans (8 1/4 oz. each) crushed pineapple in syrup, drained 1 cup diced bananas 2 tablespoons diced maraschino cherries 1/4 cup thinly sliced almonds Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water. Add orange juice, lemon juice and mayonnaise, blending well. Chill until slightly thickened. Fold in whipped cream and the fruits and nuts. Pour into an 8 by 9 inch pan. Freeze until firm, 3 to 4 hours. Thaw in refrigerator about 30 minutes before serving. Cut in slices or squares. Serve on crisp lettuce, plain or with mayonnaise, if desired.
