Chocolate Cookies2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cups milk
1/4 pound oleo
1 teaspoon vanilla
pinch of salt
3 cups oats
1/2 cups peanut butter, chunky
Mix first four ingredients together in large saucepan.
Put pan onto heat and bring to boil. Boil for three minutes while stirring all the time.
Remove from heat and let cool for one minute.
Then add remaining ingredients. Stir well and then drop by teaspoonfuls to wax paper.
I find that some times (depending on the weather) I have to refrigerate the cookies. The recipe is flexible- sometimes we skip the peanut butter or we add nuts, raisins or chocolate chips.
