Ingrediants--3/4 cup margerine
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup chopped pecans
4 ounces white chocolate, melted
In a large bowl, with electric mixer, cream margerine and sugars
until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
In seperate bowl mix together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt;
stir into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.
Divide dough into four portions. On each of 2 lightly greased baking
sheets shape 2 portions into logs 12 x 1 1/2 inch placing about 2
inches apart.
Bake in 350 F oven 15-18 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center
comes out clean. Let cool on racks about 10 minutes; drizzle strips
with melted white chocolate and slice, on diagonal, into 1 inch
slices.
Makes 4 dozen.
