salt 4 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 cup dried basil (or a handful of fresh leaves with stems removed) 1/2 cup fresh parsley with stems removed 2 T. pine nuts 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup olive oil 2 T. soft butter ------------------------------------------------ Boil the noodles in a large pot of salted water until tender but firm (about 8 min.) Meanwhile, prepare the pesto: put the garlic, basil, parsley, pine nuts, 1/4 cup Parmesan, and olive oil into the container of a blender and mix to the consistency of mayonnaise. Drain the noodles, dry in a hot napkin, and put into a heated bowl, add the pesto and butter and toss until well blended. Serve with Parmesan cheese. Servings: 4-6 Preparation Time: 20 min.
