Chunky Applesauce Muffins

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon allspice
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup margarine
2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
12 ounces applesauce
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 cup apples -- chopped
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup raisins
Sift together flour, cloves, allspice, and cinnamon; set aside.
Cream together margarine and sugar; add eggs and vanilla. Mix
applesauce and baking soda together; add to creamed mixture. Stir in dry ingredients. Fold in apples, pecans, and raisins. Pur batter into greased muffin tins. Bake at 400 for 15 to 20 minutes.

NOTES : Batter can be refrigerated up to 2 weeks.
Nuts and raisins may be omitted.
Yield: 3 dozen
