3/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup melted butter or margerine 1 cup unflavored yogurt 1 egg 1 1/2 tsp almond extract 1 3/4 cup flour 1/3 cup cocoa 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 cup chocolate chips | | Combine brown sugar and butter. Add yogurt, egg and almond extract, stirring mixture until thoroughly blended. In a larger bowl, combine flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder. Add yogurt mixture to dry ingredients, stirring only until mixutre is slightly moistened. Fold in chocolate chips. Spoon batter into greased muffin tins and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.Makes 12 large muffins.
