Oven-Fried Chicken

Click here for a printable version of this recipe

1/4 cup of margarine or butter
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
3-3 1/2 lbs cut up broiler/fryer chicken*
Heat oven to 425 degrees; put pyrex dish with the margarine in the oven to melt. Meanwhile mix all the other dry ingredients. Coat chicken in flour mix; shake/tap off excess. Put skin-side down into the already heated pyrex w/margarine. Bake uncovered for 30 mins. Turn; bake additional 30 mins or until juices run clear. Tastes like and crisps up like the real deal!!

*I used drumsticks and thighs; skinless parts worked with this recipe also.
